What is EDGE? The MPi EDGE system is an electronic dealership growth solution that easily adapts to the service side of your business. Our profit and productivity enhancing solution integrates with your existing DMS system and OEM websites to deliver the most robust product available.

MPi’s EDGE consists of two main service offerings: World Class Inspections™ and World Class Search™. Each service offering is designed to increase your customer pay parts and labor sales as well as increase your technicians' productivity. EDGE™ Solution Overview

As part of the EDGE™ solution, MPi offers the World Class Inspection™ program. World Class Inspections help service departments maximize their revenue with a comprehensive bumper-to-bumper vehicle inspection process. This unique system enables your service advisors and technicians to find and present legitimately needed work to your customers in a consistent and professional manner. Your service advisors will become highly effective and comfortable presenting the Know Your Vehicle™ report. This customizable report highlights the recommended services and costs in an informative manner that is easy to read and comprehend. Your customers will come to expect the Know Your Vehicle™ report as part of their service experience.

As part of the World Class Inspection program, EDGE provides one-of-a-kind management reports that give your management team a birds-eye view on how your service department is performing. Our reports deliver performance metrics that allow you to oversee and manage how your service advisors and technicians are adhering to the World Class Inspection process. The reports provide detailed information that gives specific information as to who is requesting inspections, who is performing the inspections, and if the customer was presented a Know Your Vehicle report. Our reports were designed to give you a true statement of how much money is captured as a result of the inspection program and how much money is being left on the table.

EDGE also offers World Class Search™ (currently available only to domestic franchises) which allows technicians to increase their productivity by providing them rapid access to OEM vehicle service and repair information. MPi licenses all technical data (for all makes and models) from GM, Ford and Chrysler -- this includes service manuals, technical service bulletins (TSBs), updates, and diagrams. This is everything technicians need to quickly diagnose and repair vehicles. We make it easy for techs to locate this critical repair and diagnostic data which enable the average technician to flag an additional 1–1½ hours per day.  Service Departments using the World Class Search feature are benefiting from an increase in fix-it-right the first time and a decrease in comebacks.
