World Class Inspection™

What Gets Measured GETS DONE!
Change is hard... process change in a dealership is very hard! Why do new things fail? Because changing peoples behavior is difficult. Lots of good ideas and products fall short of expectation because they are never fully or properly implemented. Being able to measure a product or process results is key; "what gets measured gets done." Dealerships have lots of measurements, financial statements, CSI reports etc. that are results measurements. But in order to have REAL process change you need both results and process metrics. Most vehicle inspections fail because they can't be easily measured. A World Class process has both results and process measurement that is easy to obtain and can be used to manage and coach the execution of a process.

World Class Inspections™
MPi delivers REAL-TIME process measurement without having to stand and watch it being done. Performing a World Class Inspection" is attainable if you can measure, manage and coach the key steps in the process.

  • Did the service advisor put an inspection to be performed on the RO?
  • Did the technician complete the inspection?
  • If the tech completed the inspection did he do a good job - how many recommendations did he find?
  • Did the service advisor complete an estimate with pricing for the needed items?

If the process was executed the results measures will indicate how well you did.

  • How many inspections did you do?
  • How much up-sell was generated from those inspections?
  • What is your up-sell per inspection?
  • Are you improving? How did you do when compared to past performance?

MPi provides dealerships with metrics on how they are stacking up against the industry standard set by other dealerships. We enable dealers to determine where there is room for improvement and we provide the tools and processes in order to achieve World Class.

Questions to ask yourself are:
Are you a World Class performer?
If not, how much money are you leaving on the table?
